Thursday's will be this blog's match of the week. I hope everyone that reads this blog will find the matches interesting and provide a bit of good insight in what is to be learned. Also it should be noted that most of these matches will be provided by www.chessgames.com unless I find an interesting match elsewhere.
Today's match is provided by two of my favorite Grandmasters from an era long forgotten. My only regret is I do not know how to get a pgn file to work on this yet - so please forgive me. As soon as this problem is figured out the boards will be provided along with the annotation. Until then I hope you decide to crack open a chessboard and digest the match provided.

Personal notes:
Roughly 20 years ago I found this game when I was a strict amateur playing the Stonewall Attack thanks to GM's I.A Horowitz and Fred Reinhold book, How to Think Ahead in Chess. I found the Stonewall to be a bit stiff and the Torre to be very stylish in it's nature of attack. This one match basically changed my perspective on chess and the Torre Attack has been a part of my arsenal ever since. I hope everyone will digest this match and gain some critical knowledge from it.
Cheers,
James
